Travis Foundation Board Information Session

Do you want to help shape the future of Travis Elementary? Now is your moment!

As a group, the Board meets once per month to review grant applications and to provide strategic planning for fund raising and community building events. Individually, the members contribute by serving as officers and committee participants, as well as providing leadership and expertise based on their abilities, backgrounds, and current interests.

The Travis Foundation is now accepting applications for (5) two-year positions and (1) one-year position (we're looking at you rising 5th grade parents!). Interested? Complete an application now!

Join the 2020-2021 Board of Directors for an information session and Q&A about all things Travis Foundation Board.

Fegen's has reserved their whole outdoor patio for us so come, spread out and enjoy a cocktail while you hear about the amazing things we have planned for our 2021-2022 school year!

Cheers to Travis

Make plans now to join your Travis community for a special event to connect, celebrate our Travis family and get an update on Travis happenings.

Cheers to Travis is actually TWO events. Same night. Same time. Different locations. One event location is for parents/teachers for grades K-2. The second location is for parents/teachers for grades 3-5. If your kids’ grades span both parties, feel free to pick one or attend both!

Back to School Bash

All Travis parents, teachers, staff, and friends are invited to celebrate the start of the 2019-20 school year! One lucky family will come away with use of the Travis Foundation’s RESERVED parking spot for the 2019-2020 school year!

Our very own Travis family, the Godoys, have graciously donated the use of their restaurant space at Mastrantos for this event. Appetizers will be provided, and drinks and full dinner service will be available for purchase.

So, come check out the global tastes of Mastrantos while meeting new friends, catching up with old and supporting the growth of the Travis community.

Back to School Bash

Celebrate the start of the 2018-19 school year with the Travis Community
at the annual Back to School Bash! 

All Travis parents, teachers and staff are invited to join us for an evening of friends and fun. 

We've changed things up a bit this year and are hosting the event at Stuttgarden Tavern to give you a max array of stellar food and beverage choices. 

A portion of all purchases benefit the William B. Travis Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to providing enduring financial support for the continued growth of Travis Elementary as an innovative, distinctive and inclusive school environment that promotes student achievement and academic excellence.

NOTE: This event is adults only. It's our turn to celebrate!

Back to School Bash - Saturday October 14

Join the Travis Foundation for our annual Back to School Bash on Saturday October 14 from 6-9 at Buffalo Bayou Brewery, 5301 Nolda. 

 

It’s free and for adults only. Adult beverages will be served with light snacks. Relax with your friends and meet new ones, learn more about what we do, and enter into the raffle of a lifetime. For every $100 donated to Foundation from tonight up until the drawing on October 14, you will get a chance to win the Foundation parking spot in the Front Lot of the school - reserved just for you 24/7 for the entire school year! Donate by clicking the DONATE button above or bring check, cash or credit card to the event.
